Through the elements of his actual written music that I found on the internet he was known for his ability and presentation to play the saxophone. He was referred to as "The Bird" or the "Yardbird". There are some conflicting stories as to why this was, but two kinda made sense. One is that he would listen to bands outside the concert hall, he was facing black rights after all. The other is that he loved chicken. I really couldn't find a definite reason so I didn't include it among my work. After uploading and seeing it on my screen I think I'm going to remove the word "The" before "The Charlie Parker Story" and just have it read "Charlie Parker Story" because to be honest people would say "have you read the Charlie Parker Story?" I don't think it needs to be included with the title. What do you guys think?
